Alex has taught piano for 6 years with Werner music. He has a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, with a focus on arranging, improvisation and recording. He has written music for community theatre productions, and in the past six years has accrued 5 music direction credits via Penny and Pound Theatre Co. Most notably, he recently orchestrated and music-directed 'Little Heaven', and received an award for Outstanding Musical Direction from the Western Ontario Drama League. 

Recreationally, Alex likes to cook and bake, have coffee with close friends and enjoys quiet evenings at home with his wife, Jessica.
